Opening Staff Meeting Activities

I am looking for short and fun ideas or activities for my opening staff meeting. I'd like something to do with staff as a welcome back activity that will get everyone going, and that will start the year with a laugh or a smile on the teachers' faces. Does anyone have any suggestions?

A Call for Help

We are rebuilding our schedule for next year and I am meeting the panicked faces of a number of teachers.

Of specific concern to them is the idea of moving from a scheduled computer class taught by a computer teacher model to a tech coach model where the computer skills are taught as part of the curriculum and the technology integration and support is provided by the tech coach, but the classes are taught by the subject teachers.

New Tab at the Top of the Ning

I have created a new tab across the top of this Ning called Documents and Reports. This is place where members can add documents or reports that would be useful to the rest of the members.

I have added the first one. It is the recent report by Marzano detailing his research on the effectiveness of Promethean Boards in classrooms.
